Meinungsumkehr der LINKE: Deutsche Panzer an die Front!
In einer überraschenden Erklärung geben Teile der LINKEn ihre Positionen zur aktiven Verbreitung von Kriegswaffen durch Deutschland preis – und das mitten in einem öffentlichen Diskurs um die zunehmende Militarisierung des Landes.
Die Argumentation des Fraktionsvorsitzenden der Partei im Bundestag Gregor Gysi in einem Interview kommt teilweise abenteuerlich daher: ähnlich wie deutsche Regierende in Mittelasien am Hindukusch Deutschland verteidigen wollten, sieht Gysi “Recht auf Verteidigung mit deutschen Waffen” im Irak dringend geboten (“Stoppt ISIS”).
Er befindet sich in vermeintlich aufgeklärter Nachbarschaft. Bereits ein CSUler hatte gegen Berlin rasche Militärhilfe im Nordirak gefordert: angesichts zig Millionen auf der Flucht und zig Tausend Panzern in den Händen rasender Terroristen bleibe uns gar nichts anderes zur Rettung der Menschen und der Welt übrig als vor Ort deutsch aufzurüsten, und “Mit besseren Waffen Frieden schaffen”.
Abgesehen davon, dass aus zig Tausend Flüchtlingen in bayerischer Verve schnell mal Millionen werden (also so viel, dass Aufenthaltsrecht für Flüchtlinge in Deutschland von vorne herein unsinnig klingt) und aus “ein paar Hundert Terroristen” ganze Panzerarmeen (weshalb nur ganz viele, dolle Waffen gegen sie helfen), werden auch Diagnosen ignoriert, welche die Verhältnisse vor Ort etwas differenzierter und als Fronten in einem irakischen Bürgerkrieg sehen.
Ob solche Preisgabe der politischen Prinzipien der Partei die LINKE dem Streben nach erregender Medienpräsenz oder der Annäherung an die SPD geschuldet ist? Die ist zumindest zum Hundertjährigen der Kriegskredite 1914 an dieser Stelle etwas vorsichtiger.
Vielleicht sollte die LINKE das auch sein, besonders angesichts der unübersichtlichen Konfliktlinien zwischen Sunniten und Schiiten, sowie den dort bereits angehäuften Waffenbergen aus westlichen Fabriken. Dazu gehört die Erinnerung an Waffeneinsätze dort über den letzten Einmarsch im Irak durch die USA 2003 hinaus. Der Golfkrieg 1991 wurde nicht zuletzt hierzulande mit dem Hitlervergleich bezüglich Saddam Hussein gerechttfertigt, der genau in dem Gebiet, in dem sich jetzt viele auf der Flucht vor ISIS befinden, teufliche Angriffe gegen die Bevölkerung mit Gas befohlen habe. Die Gaswaffen gehörten zu dem angeblichen Massenvernichtungsarsenal, das 2003 die USA als Kriegsrechtfertigung erfanden. Dem aber nicht genug an Problemfällen, denn bereits Saddam lernte aus der Geschichte, respektive von Europa und seinen besseren Waffen: in genau dem gleichen Gebiet befahl nämlich bereits 1920 der verehrte Winston Churchill für die Royal Air Force Angriffe mit Giftgas auf die dortige Bevölkerung.
Es ist hier wie dort nicht alles mit Geschichten über Invasionen fremder und blutrünstiger Terroristen östlicher Statur abzuhandeln. Und besonders nicht dafür, in einen Krieg mit Waffenlieferungen aus Deutschland einzugreifen. Das sollte bei der aktuellen Anhäufung von Kriegen gerade der Partei die LINKE wirklich klar sein.
Ich habe mir das Interview (besonders den Anfang) mehrfach angesehen. Dort ist Gysi nicht einmal mit einem >>“Recht auf Verteidigung mit deutschen Waffen” im Irak dringend geboten<< zu hören. Ich halte Gysi auch für zu intelligent, um so etwas zu sagen. Die LINKE hat sich allerdings schon vorher für Auslandseinsätze der "Bundeswehr" ausgesprochen: Sie stimmte der Vernichtung der Giftgaswaffen der Syrer zu, statt sich dafür einzusetzen, dass dieses Vernichtungspotential gefälligst von Herstellern und Lieferanten auf deren Kosten durchzuführen ist. Das ist imho der eigentliche Dammbruch.
Dann zitiere ich mal wörtlich aus dem taz-Interview:
” könnte in diesem Ausnahmefall ein Waffenexport dorthin dann statthaft sein, wenn andere Länder dazu nicht unverzüglich in der Lage sind. Mit Protestbriefen wird man IS nicht stoppen. ”
und
“Wir haben nie das Recht auf Landesverteidigung bestritten. Auch die Bundeswehr soll Deutschland verteidigen, falls es angegriffen wird. In Syrien, Irak und den kurdischen Gebieten haben wir es mit einem Angriffskrieg der Isis-Armee zu tun, der zurückgedrängt werden darf und muss”
Das ist wohl doch das Recht auf Verteidigung mit deutschen Waffen im Irak, oder?

Bin irritiert: das Interview ist in der taz gekennzeichnet als wortwörtlich von Herrn Reinecke geführt! Hier wird nicht “frei zitiert”…
Was hilft es da, ein anderes Interview (mit der ARD) anzuführen?
Das würde am Ende gar nachweisen, dass Herr Gysi nicht genau Kontrolle darüber hat, was er eigentlich sagt respektive seine Aussagen implizieren.
Der Gaukler hat in seinem Beitrag nicht auf seine Grundlage des TAZ-Interviews hingewiesen, so dass ich vom ARD-Interview ausgehen konnte und ausging.
Ich halte Gysi auch für zu intelligent, keine Kontrolle darüber zu haben, “was er eigentlich sagt respektive seine Aussagen implizieren.”

Zudem hilft die Intelligenz bei “erregender Medienpräsenz” nicht vor Schnellschüssen. Bei ihr geht es quasi um die “Taktfrequenz”.
Ich zweifle daran, ob die Beteiligung an solchen Modalitäten weiter bringt.
Und es ist leider so, der Fraktionsvorsitzende der LINKEn vetritt in der taz das Recht auf Verteidigung mit deutschen Waffen im Irak.
Um das Problem vielleicht noch mal zu verdeutlichen: die “mediale Öffenttlichkeit” ist stark aufmerksamkeitszentriert und besonders anfällig für Ansteckung. Wenn also unvorsichtig über Waffenlieferung wegen Recht auf Verteidigung gesprochen wird, dann kann das schnell Überbietungsreaktionen bei anderen nach sich ziehen.
Und voila: Gabriel legt heute Mittag nach, und denkt jetzt auch schon über Waffenlieferungen in den Irak nach.
Es dürfte doch gerade mit Blick auf andere Brandherde und die gegenwärtigen militärischen Schalmeien in Germany klar sein, sich von derartigen Äusserungen ganz weit weg zu bewegen – alles andere ist schlicht DUMM.
Zustimmung im Wesentlichen, werter Gaukler: Wie ich oben schon schrieb, war es für mich ein Dammbruch, als Abgeordnete der LINKEn erstmals einem Auslandseinsatz der “Bundeswehr” zustimmten. Deshalb erhielt sie auch keine Stimme von mir bei der EU-Wahl. Ich wünsche sehr, dass die LINKE wieder zu ihrer Linie zurückkehrt und künftig keinem Auslandseinsatz mehr zustimmt.
