Videoüberwachung gegen Rassisten im Fußballstadion?
In einem Gespräch mit dem Focus hat der Eintracht-Fußballer Kevin-Prince Boateng den Videobeweis für rassistische Vorfälle in Fußballstadien gefordert: „Wir schreiben das Jahr 2017 und haben immer noch keinen Weg gefunden, dagegen vorzugehen… Wir haben Torlinien-Technik und den Videobeweis, dass Boateng im Abseits stand und der Elfer nicht gegeben wurde. Aber warum setzen wir nicht die Technik ein, dass jeder rassistische Schreier identifiziert, rausgeschmissen wird und nie wieder zurück ins Stadion darf?“ Solche Maßnahmen würden „doch der Menschheit weiterhelfen und nicht nur dem Sport“, so Boateng im Focus. „In jeder neuen Saison gibt es Vorfälle. Das darf einfach nicht mehr passieren.“
So berechtigt der Zorn des Fußballers über Rassismus (nicht nur) in den Fußballstadien ist und so sehr es auch notwendig ist, mit allen geeigneten Mitteln dagegen vorzugehen: Videoüberwachung der Zuschauerränge in den Stadien kann nicht dazu gehören. Videokameras unterscheiden nicht zwischen Rassisten und Nichtrassisten! Sie überwachen auch Mimik, Gestik und Verhalten aller anderen StadionbesucherInnen.
Vorschläge, wie sie jetzt Kevin-Prince Boateng mit Bezug auf Fußballstadien macht sind mittlerweile Legion. Kaum wird von schweren Straftaten oder auch gehäuften Ordnungswidrigkeiten irgendwo im öffentlichen Raum berichtet, rufen VertreterInnen nahezu aller Parteien: „Hier muss Videoüberwachung her!“ Videoüberwachung ist weder im Eintracht-Stadion noch an der Frankfurter Hauptwache noch am gerade abgebrannten Frankfurter Goetheturm ein geeignetes Mittel, um menschenverachtendes Fehlverhalten und / oder kriminelles / terroristisches Handeln wirksam zu unterbinden.
Der Preis dafür ist zu hoch: Das Grundrecht auf informationelle Selbstbestimmung; das Recht, sich unbeobachtet im öffentlichen Raum zu bewegen, würde immer mehr eingeschränkt.
